Contribution to My Learning + The Learning Community: The End
It’s hard to believe that the Applied Digital Learning (ADL) program has ended! Looking back, I can confidently say that enrolling in this program was one of the best decisions I have made for my personal and professional growth. Each course reinforced my passion for creating Meaningful Learning Enviroments and gave me the tools to Influence Change in education. Throughout this journey, I have gained invaluable insights into digital learning, instructional design, leadership, and innovation—all of which will continue to shape my teaching practice.
Reflecting on these last two courses, Instructional Design for Online Learning (EDLD 5318) and Synthesis of Digital Learning and Leadership (EDLD 5320), I recognize how perfectly they complemented each other. One focused on creating well-structured and engaging learning experiences, while the other encouraged me to synthesize everything I learned throughout the program into a coherent and actionable plan.
A Learning Community That Made a Difference
From the beginning, collaboration has been at the core of my distance learning experience. This program emphasized the importance of working with others, and I was fortunate to be part of a learning community that supported and motivated me throughout the process. Teaming up with Doynna Johnston, Desiree Lopez, and Angelica Padron was especially valuable. Over time, our collaboration extended beyond the Blackboard platform, evolving into continuous feedback exchanges through direct messages and emails. This experience has shown me that our professional contributions and support for one another will continue beyond this program. The ability to exchange ideas, provide feedback, and learn from others has been one of the most rewarding aspects of this journey.

Looking Back and Moving Forward
As I close this chapter, I am grateful for every challenge, discussion, and collaboration that has shaped my learning experience. I actively participated in discussions, sought feedback, and applied what I learned to my practice, prioritizing engaging deeply and absorbing as much knowledge as possible.
While my time in the ADL program has ended, my journey as a digital learning leader is just beginning. The skills, strategies, and experiences I have gained will continue to influence my teaching and leadership for years. Learning is an ongoing and evolving process, and I am excited to see where this path takes me next!
